Making a Mini Baby Yoda

1.jpg

There were many versions of Baby Yoda that were released after the Mandalorian was launched. Back then, I had already made a few versions of Yoda, which were all not particularly satisfactory.

My earliest Yoda versions had varying shades of green. I tested out using an algae green shade then a lime green shade. This time when I decided to make ‘baby Yoda’ or ‘The Child’, I wanted to try a different shade. So I obtained this turquoisy green colour to test out.

As opposed to previous Yoda patterns, I extended out his arms and legs but kept the body smaller. I also, made his coat an external add-on, compared to when I preferred to surface sc on the jackets. Also since the child’s coat is more poufy.

It started off as a vest that I made for a rat back during CNY. Then I made something similar for Black Canary’s jacket. This time I made a coat with a pulled down collar. After wrapping the tiny body inside it, the whole piece looks poufier.

Ta-da! The final Baby Yoda! He’s smaller than the others I made previously. But I like to think he’s the cutest one I made so far! What you think?
