This was something that happened to me back in July 2021, most exciting! I was approached back in 2020 for a feature on a Channel 8 program (a Singapore Mandarin speaking television channel) but it didn’t exactly pan out. Fast forward to middle of 2021, I was contacted for the same program and it was confirmed that I was going to be featured in a program about the ‘Slash Generation’.
I’m thrilled to be part of this FREE virtual summit organised by Rebecca Page! It’s my first time and I’m excited to let you know what is included and what I have contributed too!
Another awesome bundle for Valentine’s Day guys and I’m really happy with my contribution this time and hope you do too. Needless to say, there are a few wonderful couples inside including mine so see if you can guess which one is by me!
Today is Day 4 of the Christmas Email Hop and it’s my day! If you missed the first 3 days, it was actually @anvisgranny on Day 1 with Christmas Tree Doll, @sweetsofties on Day 2 with Christmas Elf and @rxy_crochet on Day 3 with Ice Ice Baby!
Woohoo, right on the heels of the Halloween Pack, now there’s a Christmas Bundle as well! This time we will be doing it slightly differently because it is a Christmas Email Hop! There will be loads of free stuff as well as a little bundle wrapped up with a bow if you choose to skip all the hopping and grab everything together! And guys… it’s really all just amigurumis, just cos that’s what we all love right?
So I’ve had this great privilege to try out some Madeline Tosh yarn, as well as being featured as their October MT Studio designer. I usually use acrylic yarn and I did try to use wool yarn once and did not have too good an experience, so it was a real eye opener for me to try out MT’s merino wool.
Guys, I’m so excited to tell you what I’ve been up to recently! I made a couple of new Amigurumi Designer friends and we all decided to come up with a Halloween Ami Super Pack together! To be very honest, I don’t really like to crochet many other items apart from Amigurumi (as evident as everything on my blog lol), which is something I share in common with all these other Ami designers!
Guys if you have been following my recent posts, then you know I recently had a free pattern release on the Hook Nook blog! This time, it’s my full PDF release! It consists of 22 pages of patterns and 50+ images of Polly in a swimsuit, Buster the ice-cream boy and their ice cream truck!
Hey guys! My latest ‘Ice Cream Babies’ set has landed on the Hook Nook blog! I was so excited to be featured there, she has so many other amazing artists there showcasing different types of crochet work!
Guys, I’m super excited to unveil this soon! It’s a pattern feature on Hook Nook and it’s one of my more complex ones to date…
Guys, I’m so exciting about showing you this! It’s been something I’ve been working on for a while. It’s basically an accumulation of all the different hairstyle techniques I used for all my past amigurumi collections!
Another guest blog post with Knotions Magazine! This time I talk about what kinds of Amigurumi can be made, or at least the ones I have tried experimenting with previously!
This is another awesome magazine feature in the works since last year! The bunch at Happily Hooked are real great people and they always have such bright and cheerful colours in their patterns! Before starting off each pattern in their Pattern Pack Pro, see the classification of the difficulty level so you know what you need to know before tackling the pattern. This is my little guy for this month of March called Chomper Dan!
Amigurumi involves the art of using yarn to crochet or knit stuffed toys. This form of art originated from Japan, and the translation of ‘amu’ means ‘to knit’ while nuigurumi means ‘stuffed toy’.
Guys, I’m so excited! This was something in the works since last year but I want to reveal…. my first Crochet Magazine feature! It’s in ‘Crochet Now’! The theme was geared towards ‘Wild side’… and I really just love all the other featured patterns in this issue as well!
