This is my first round-up post, brought together some awesome useful blog articles with interesting techniques to learn from. Now that you have seen all my past few posts - different techniques for limb attachment, using surface sc, using popcorn stitches and even my extended hdc bob, here are some other awesome patterns from great designers too!

Sweet Softies

Her Baby Bean doll is just too cute! It’s the base she uses for all her other doll figures and it’s so customizable!

Meladora’s Creations

This plushie is slightly different from the previous one, it involves making each individual part like the head, arms and legs and sewing them all together!

Amigurumi To Go

These tiny little Wee Bits include a head and body which are crocheted together, but the arms and legs are sewn on subsequently. Great for chibi amigurumis (i.e. big heads and small bodies!).

Sayjai Amigurumi

Her base amigurumi doll involves crocheting the legs together instead of sewing them on. She does subsequently sew on the arms at the end. Many of her dolls are based off this basic ami body structure!

Supergurumi

One of my favourite methods to bring together an amigurumi body. He uses surface crochet to combine the arms and legs!

Here are my very own 9 different ways to make basic amigurumi bodies, from various techniques I’ve have picked up in the past plus some experimentation as well, stemming from a need to reduce sewing attachments as much as possible!

The first method or the bobble stitch method will be showcased in a free Crochet Doll Starter Guide below if you are interested to join me!
